Dr Alex Lee

Prof. Alex Lee is a distinguished Professor in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics
at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a position he has held since 2020. He earned his MBChB with Honors from CUHK in 2000, followed by his MD in 2015.
An internationally recognized expert in cardiovascular medicine, Prof. Lee holds prestigious fellowships with leading global bodies, including the Royal College of Physicians (London, Edinburgh), the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He also serves as a Board Member of the Asian-Pacific Association of Echocardiography.
|Prof. Lee’s primary research and clinical interests focus on echocardiography, advanced cardiac imaging, valvular and structural heart disease interventions, as well as heart failure and cardiomyopathy. He is a highly prolific researcher, contributing to over 300 refereed full journal articles and conference abstracts. His extensive academic output includes numerous high-impact publications investigating transcatheter tricuspid interventions, artificial intelligence applications in echocardiography, and innovative structural heart repair techniques.
